mittenwald is a gorgeous little town in the alps of southern germany. it's known for the murals painted on the buildings and its history of people making quality violins.
i'll take the high road and you take the low road....
Great pics...I loved riding the trains in Germany (spent 3 years there from '85-'88). Don't believe we visited Mittenwald, but it's been added to the "to do" list for our return trip!
