clock of nines

the 7 o'clock isn't exactly equal to 7, but i dont mind rounding up.... i'm not that big of a nerd! cool clock!

Sure it is - there's no mathematical difference between 1 and 0.999999...

kevinwparker is right. Here's the proof:

1/9 = 0.1111111...
9 * (1/9) = 9 * 0.111111...
1 = 0.999999...

Your brain truncates the digits, which is why it is hard for people to understand this. It is this truncation that later makes you believe you have to "round up."
