jupiter and the speed of light

in this sixty symbols video about jupiter, professor mike merrifield and i talk about how the first measurement of the speed of light were taken using jupiter's moons, how to remember the names of the galilean moons, the crashing of comet shoemaker-levy 9 into jupiter, and more!

had either you or mike been a science instructor in my high school, perhaps instead of a fan, I would be a fellow physicist.

There is an energy in the both of you that is infectious. I would imagine life on the moons of Jupiter, because Marvel Comics already had life on the Moon of Saturn (Titan, specifically)

*sigh* Anyway, I enjoy today's video immensely. Made me recall days of yore!!

I wish that I had not let my youthful stupidity steer me away from my goal of being an astronomer. Here I am, 25 years later listening to you and envying you. Oh, well! I will live vicariously through your blog. Thank you for the post. Question, how many cubic tons of Rolaids or Tums would be needed to make Jupiter disappear?
