thanks to all old friends i caught up with and new folks i've met on this trip. it has been memorable, productive, fun, and exhausting. i should have scheduled a short holiday from my holiday, but after i return to sydney on saturday, i give a talk on monday!?! i'll think about that on the plane...

Can't believe we didn't get any photos of Amazon landmarks.
i havent posted anywhere near all my photos yet. but remember too that the amazons were a mythical population...
The Amazons did exist. They weren't as dramatic as Greek portrayals, but there were real tribes of warrior princesses near the Black sea, which Greeks based their myths on.
