Hi Amanda! Where I live now and have lived here in Canada we can see them a lot. Been a while though since I saw any Aurorae. Yes they dance and are awe inspiring. Some people are scared of them also. Heres a link to A Canadian aurora cam located in Yellowknife NWT.
Me too! Yet isn't it wonderful that we can get to see the Northern Lights vicariously....and we know they are there, when our great-grandparents may never have heard of their existence, if they were not northern born?
Sorry Anonymous, your great great grandparents knew of the wonders of the northern lights too. They used this incredible tool called literature to get fabulous descriptions and drawings of these phenomena. This doesn't make them any less beautiful today though.
