Hi Amanda!Where I live now and have lived here in Canada we can see them a lot.Been a while though since I saw any Aurorae. Me too! Yet isn't it wonderful that we can get to see the Northern Lights vicariously....and we know they are there, when our great-grandparents may never have heard of their existence, if they were not northern born?
Sorry Anonymous, your great great grandparents knew of the wonders of the northern lights too. They used this incredible tool called literature to get fabulous descriptions and drawings of these phenomena.This doesn't make them any less beautiful today though.great gram-pa grumpy
You are assuming, of course, that my great great grandparents were literate, had access to books and eyeglasses...
