You need a stimulus to set off production of the hormones. And, you also need that positive stimulus to continue so that hormonal production is continuous. They are no more love than the stimulus is. Perhaps they are components of love, but the brain and its neurons have to respond to those hormones and that stimulus positively along with other neurotransmitters to equate to the condition of love. Even what I have just written does not come close to whatever love is.
actually, what i thought is, i guess this is how you make a baby and then how you deliver said baby. without oxytocin, labor simply won't happen. which begs the question, is pitocin fake-love? puppy-love? i-wish-it-was love?
