i was just introduced to the haunting art of david ho which is described on his site as "dark digital art with irony." great description and worth a browse.
For some reason, this evokes Poe to me. I teach high school English, so perhaps I will try to figure out a way to incorporate into some Edgar Allan Poe units. Very cool : )

I notice that it's not just about the darkness either - the lightness in the photo's draws you to certain aspects also. Love it.
