middle earth

i spent last week working in christchurch, new zealand, and giving a couple talks.   now i'm going offline to explore middle earth on foot for a few days.   so... excited.... (please stop raining!).

    It's always raining down there, hope you've got insect repellent for the sandflies! Enjoy the Milford Track hike.

    I spent the last summer break of my PhD hiking around fjordland. It was amazing.
