australian SKA pathfinder radio telescope

a new radio telescope in western australia, the australian square kilometer array pathfinder (ASKAP), will be officially opened next friday.

in honor of the event, alex cherney made a nice timelapse of the technology.  radio telescopes are so fun in timelapse videos!

    The Milky Way is always so awe inspiring in these time lapse videos, I wonder who it was that first realised that the Milky Way was the view of the stars & dust clouds towards the center of our Galaxy?
