i think the statement is interesting on its own, but the accompanying cartoon adds a whole new dimension of humor!

    I love this post and your site in general. Off the subject-as an admittedly hard truth loving astronomer-perhaps you could explain to a layperson whether or not the claims about Earth being at a close alignment with "The Galactic Center" on December 21'st 2012 are true. What is the real deal Amanda?
